Does anyone remember Beanie Babies from the late '90s? My brother and I collected a ton of them, and now they are pretty useless to us. Are they worth anything now? I have maybe 40 or so, and I'm thinking of selling them, but I want to know if it is worth it to list them on eBay. TIA if anyone can help!

Frankly, I think they would be worth too much trouble for what you would get for them on ebay. With fees being what they are, I don't think you'd make hardly anything even worth your time to list each one, etc.
I've got tons of them here (had some, and also got my late mom's collection when she died). And from what I've been able to tell, they don't have much of a secondary market anymore (at least at a decent price).

If anyone is interested, PM me, and I will list the Beanie Babies I am selling and how much I am asking for them.

I have about *400* Beanie Babies and around 50 Beanie Buddies. I was considering selling them a few months ago, but I've decided to try to wait until the market gets a little better. I was into Beanies then like I'm into AG now. I was even published a few times in Mary Beth's Beanie World Magazine!
The major thing is space. I live in a small studio apartment, all my Beanie stuff is taking up an entire room in my mom's 4-bedroom house where I grew up. My mom lives there alone now and eventually wants to move to a condo, so when she's ready to sell her house, I'll have to get rid of the Beanies no matter what. But until then I hope to wait a bit to see if the market improves.
I have several that are worth something, although nothing worth thousands or anything. The most valuable ones I have are probably Flutter, Bronty, Quacker with wings with 2nd gen tag, Libearty, Lefty and Righty, Manny, Bubbles, Tank no shell, Flash and Splash, Sly brown belly, are the ones I can think of. I invested a lot of time and $ into that collection and it would be a shame to throw it all away. I hope to get at least $1000 for my entire collection.
There is a place in IL called buyingbeanies.com and you can mail your beanies there from anywhere in the country. I was planning on taking the entire lot there and basically dumping them off. That way I wouldn't have to deal with the web at all.
Here's the website:

That looks very interesting, I'll have to check that out further tomorrow.
